Cleverteens (CT)

This is a general English program for students at the age of 13-17. The focus is on speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary and pronunciation with a strong grammar component. Emphasis is placed on everyday, spoken English, and the textbook includes topics of interest and importance to young people everywhere.

Course Objective:
The objective of this course is to enable students to analyze systems of language in context as it exposes them to a variety of challenging and interesting types of text. Students are encouraged to produce accurate and level-appropriate language and to bring their own personal experiences and feeling to the learning context. This course is designed to provide students with an opportunity to continue their studies at Cleverlearn and to fine tune their English skills.

Course Structure:
The course consists of 6 levels (CT Intro – CT6).
Each level lasts 90 hours.

CleverKids (CK)

This is a foundation course designed for young children beginning at the age of 7-12. The course covers the four skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing, as well as Phonetics, Pronunciation and vocabulary building. Due to the importance of oral communication, the focus of this course will be placed on Listening Comprehension and Speaking Fluency.

Course Objective:
At Cleverlearn, our teachers use the communicative approach to teaching the kids how to “use” the language.

In addition to using excellent and up-to-date American English textbooks, our teachers utilize storytelling, drama, speaking activities, grammar games, arts & crafts, songs, dance, pair work, group work, presentations, music, films, television programs, radio broadcasts, computer programs and the internet to engage students in all facets of learning English.

Course Structure:
The course consists of 10 levels: CK1 – CK8 + Pre-Teen 1 &2
Each level lasts 90 hours.

CleverPre-Kids

English language learning and literacy has a profound and lasting effect on the social and academic lives of children. Their future educational opportunities and career choices are directly related to language and literacy ability. As an International English Language Organization, Cleverlearn recognizes children as curious, active learners who live and learn in multiple dynamic settings.

Course Objective:
The course which is designed for young learners at the age of 4-6, aims to provide a stimulating environment in which children can develop & flourish, and where they can cultivate a positive and enthusiastic attitude to school in general, and to English language learning in particular.

Course structure:
The program consists of three Stages: Pre-CK1, Pre-CK2,  (60 hours/stage), Pre-CK3 (72 hours) and Bridging Course (60 hours).

The Progressive Approach
Cleverlearn utilizes the progressive approach to English language learning and literacy. Our teachers emphasize what children can do, rather than what they don’t know. They foster social interaction because it is a vital part of English language and literacy learning. When they are properly motivated, they can then be taught skills to help them become more effective communicators.

The Theme-Based Approach
The curriculum also adopts a variety of well designed, theme-based lessons that are the focus of our program and are explored within each level according to the children's age, ability and socio-cultural differences of the children. Each theme combines intergrated lessons. E.g.:

Small Class Size (1:12)
A unique feature of CleverStarters is our exceptionally small class size. Classes are limited from 10 to 12 children with one teacher. With our small class size, your children will have more interaction time with the teacher, more opportunity to speak up, ask questions and even share opinions.

Since Cleverlearn recognizes that early childhood is the period when language develops most rapidly, it is imperative that young children be provided with a variety of developmentally appropriate English literacy and language experiences by the teacher.
